Pregnancy nutrition can be confusing, especially from a plant-based perspective. This workshop will provide reliable guidance on what whole plant based foods to prepare during your pregnancy to sustain you in each trimester and build a healthy baby. All kinds of eaters who are interested in incorporating more plants prenatally are welcomed! Topics covered include: why nutrition matters during pregnancy, the benefits and challenges of a plant based pregnancy, how to find quality supplements, as well as what vitamins and minerals to give attention to for those who are exclusively plant based. Special attention will be given to what herbs are safe during pregnancy as well as the early postpartum period.
